The Digital Family History Center, located on the second floor of the library, is equipped with the latest technology for digitizing your family’s history. The center features an array of technology to assist you in creating digital copies of your cherished family memories. Equipment available to use includes:
- Slide and negative scanner
- Flatbed scanner
- Slide station featuring a loupe and light table
- VHS digital capture device
- Vinyl record converter
- 3.5″ floppy disk portable drive
- 8mm reels/Super 8 reels (no 8mm tapes)

Some of our scanners and film converters can be checked out with your library card to digitize your family memories from home.
- Must be 18 years or older to check out.
- All items can be reserved through the Circulation department.
- Patrons may check out up to two devices per library card.
- Items may be checked out for 14 days with 1 renewal.
